It is a pleasure to share my experience dealing with RemoteADoor (RAD). The company was quick to respond to my query and provide advice. RAD kept me up to date with the date and time when they can attend to the job. Their quote was fair and not ridiculous like others. There was even a company asked me to replace my sliding gate to install their sliding gate motor ( what a joke !)The technician, Corey who came to install the new motor took the time to explain and clarify any queries that I had. Great service overall from start to finish. Amelia, Mark and Megan have been very helpful throughout the quoting process and quick turnaround to schedule installation works. Corey was professional throughout the installation and workmanship is great. Downside is just a bit of sacrifice of my grass patch to make way for the cabling but overall, would recommend anyone for gate motor installation.

Really happy with the service I received. I contacted them to repair a faulty tilt-door lifter and they had someone out the next day. Communication was great, I had a booked time but they contacted me when they were actually able to come earlier. The technician, Jayden, was friendly, courteous and efficient. He said he would have it done in 20 minutes, and sure enough he did. Good attention to detail too, even offering to spray the springs on the second door while he was there. Can definitely recommend this company.

I wanted to change the motor and opening arms of our driveway gate to the Merlin brand so we can control both the garage door and gate on the same app and remote controls over the internet.I used a competitor to these guys who installed the gear for us to remote control the garage door and did a decent job at it. As it turned out, these guys stuffed me around for months and finally tried to get me to go away by giving me a ridiculously high quote. They came out multiple times, told me they couldn't thread a cable through a conduit under the concrete, and then gave me solutions they couldn't deliver.Out of desperation, I called Remote-a-door. From the time I contacted them, the customer experience had been flawless. Starting from Amelia over the phone to the actual technician Steve who came to install the gate motor and arms, it was just so easy. Everyone I had contact with was courteous and friendly and the workmanship was of a very high quality. Steve actually cared about how the finished product would look in addition to functional utility. And guess what, he never had to cut the concrete and found a way to thread the electrical cord under the driveway to the other side. AND - the cost came back materially cheaper than the other mob.All in all, the kind of service these guys provide is so rare these days and I am more than happy to sing their praises to anyone and everyone who would listen to me.A very happy customer indeed. Thank you guys!!!Update: They noticed a flaw on the gate which may mean that it may be dented and break over time. They gave me a very reasonable quote and a few weeks later, they were back to install a reinforcement. Now our gate is solid as! Thank you!!!

I love the idea of making changes to the house but when crunch time comes, I get worried I'll make a wrong decision. Customer service was quick and easy. My personal experience was based off of emailing instead of calling. Quick response with a quote. Once the quote was accepted, they responded with available times. They were able to come and do the job in the morning and I was sent photos and the attached invoice again through email (that same day). I came home and it was really well done. I paid my invoice and they sent me an email with my receipt straight away(when the payment went through). Overall, great customer service, highly trained people with a great work ethic. Had no issues at all. The price they quote you is exactly what you would need to pay. No added fees (unless there is more work to be done, but that’s a given). Definitely recommend trying these guys out.

Had a great experience with the team at remote-a-door in Brisbane replacing my two garage tilt doors which were very noisy and the bearings were going on the hinges. The first point of contact was Megan in the office who was extremely helpful and got a quote back very quickly which was very competitive.Mark then came out to assess the job and advised me to keep the doors and just replace the hinges, tracks and motors only as the doors were still in great condition. I liked this as a) I hate waste and b) it saved me just over $3000!Mark and Matt came in yesterday and installed it all in 4 hours. They were very professional and did a fantastic job leaving the site completely spotless.As for the new Merlin DC motors with belt drive - I can't believe how quiet they are. The sound from my [admittedly old] chain driven ones would reverberate through to the rooms above. Now you can't even hear them opening - I am super happy!

Replacing and automating our two roller doors was complicated in that the central brick pillar extended into the garage, which limited the space for the door openers. I had doubts whether it was possible to install automated roller doors. Mark was detailed in his explanation of what would be required and very precise in his measurements. Installers Benji and Geoff were very exact and professional with a great result. I have no hesitation in recommending remote-a-door.
